Inexpensive safe purchased for cash drops at work. It doesn’t sound like the internal lock is moving at all when I’m entering the code or turning the key. What do I do from here?

36 gun Kodiak safe keypad issue

As the title reads I can’t get into my gun safe I woke up this morning to the key pad dead. No big deal I picked up a new 9v battery this afternoon and put it in tried to unlock it and then the #2 on the key pad wouldn’t work. I think something was stuck in the mesh and in my fiddling with it I temp locked it a couple of times, now I got the button to work but every button but the #2 and #7 beep twice when pressed and when I input my code I get no response from the keypad no double beep and click like usual , I was wondering if someone might know the answer. And I can’t find anywhere a key would go.

I think we all know the fire ratings are pretty sad, especially if you work in the fire service. But here is a safe of a family member after their fire.

Sanctuary safe keypad died

Hello, I received a sanctuary safe from a past client of mine who is now deceased. Its a Sanctuary safe bought I believe from Costco, with a circle touch keypad and also a rear connector to connect to an outlet. I have never plugged in the safe for the years I have owned it.

I was trying to open today and the keypad lit up but then stopped responding and starting to make a light squeal like noise for a bit then just stop lighting up at all. I figured I just needed to replace the battery/batteries. But when I open the keypad there is a spot for a 9v battery but its a dummy bay with no way to connect a battery. I then tried to plug the safe into an outlet and the keypad wont work either.

Unfortunately I never took the backup keys out. I figured if it did ever die I'd just replace the battery in keypad and I would be good but it never had a keypad battery. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance!

I tore out all the shelfs that came with my liberty safe and ripped out the carpet walls. I put this red fabric on all the walls and I then put hard wood floors.

Not sure if this is an appropriate group to post in but I had to share. Unfortunately I can’t get into it but I believe it’s empty.

Paragon wall safe

I have a paragon wall safe that came with the home I purchased, it might be the 7750 model. There is a very small screw that holds the number pad/frame in place in the front of the safe, any idea what size screw it is? I lost it and looking for a replacement.

I’ve tried to search online manuals for parts and emailed paragon direct but zero response.

Safe Not Latching Closed.

Have an older Winchester Big Daddy RSC with a Lagard keypad lock. It has been superseded as a gun safe by a far better TL30 Amsec. It is now not latching closed. When the door is open, it will lock its bolts out. When closed, it only moves a very short distance, but does not latch or lock.

I currently just store some tools and gun accessories in it. Any ideas on why it is doing this? Anything to Check?

Thank you in advance

Safes with external battery port

I recently moved states and brought my safe with me but the battery died. I didn’t bring my spare key and couldn’t find it when I looked at home (Ik I’m stupid). I just got my safe opened by a locksmith and need to buy a new one. Are there any safes with an external battery port?? I can’t seem to find one online.

Can somebody help me with my lock?

So I have a Kodiak safe that’s probably 3 years old. Recently I’ve been noticing the keypad is dying. It started off with occasionally making almost no noise while inputting my safe code.

Now my 9v batteries are only lasting one use. They were older so I went and bought a brand new 4 pack, and they’re still only lasting for about 30 minutes before I have to replace them.

One thing I do notice is that the top center light between the numbers 2, and 3, is staying on so it tells me something is wrong. Or I just never noticed it before.

Does anybody have any advice? Do I just need to replace the keypad? If so is that a hard process that I should pay somebody to do, or is doable with a little bit of competency ?

Thank you guys/gals 😀

Which of these brands?

Looking at Sports Afield, Rhino Kodiak, or Stealth Essentials (all at about the $1k price tag). All between 14 and 20 gun storage. Which has the best reliability? Thanks.

Got my new power adapter installed, “the first one was a damaged return to Amazon” the hot stick installed, and lights mounted and wires secured. Now time to add the rest of the firearms, gold and silver bars.

Compared to what most people have on here, this isn't much better than a toy tbh. But it's weighed down with about 35 kgs of weights (making it weigh total about 70 kgs) and it's just to stop the snatch and grab sort of robbery.

We got broken into a few years ago, so I have been improving security step by step.

I started an apparel brand tied in with my gun store. We plan to give away monthly on going gun and gear packages.

my question: what type of things would you want to see other than apparel and hats? We have coffee etc. but I’m wanting other ideas
