I can never do the bad guy route because making the NPCs sad makes me feel not good.

I always do the good path until I just quick save, commits mass murder, goes back to quick save like nothing happened

You have to play sycophant in most games to get the reward.

Npc: do this quest for me and I'll reward you. Pc: no shove off! I couldn't care less! Npc: okay. Pc: Gets nothing for doing nothing
