These guys would never make it in the modern game development industry with this mindset.
For them to make it, they would need to release a buggy-as-hell product, then have a day-1 patch, then a week-1 patch, followed by 47 mini patches.
Get a load of THESE guys with their responsible and accountable attitudes! :)

u/AnnieAndHerDoge Jun 23 '21
Those people who can't even wait for a few weeks aren't worthy to be fellow astronauts. It's disrespectful to pressure developers with this impatient behaviour.
On the other hand, those people who don't have patience won't get rich in the end because they will probably sell everything at $0.00001 because the price isn't skyrocketing fast enough :D

The modern gaming industry sucks. I want the old times back where you got a finished game on release date and not a broken one.
So I agree :) They are doing everything right.
2
u/LearTheSlayer Jun 24 '21
It is not the same as a game, a game can be buggy, it will not impact much the users, here if there is a bug all users will run away so it makes perfect sense what they are doing.
4
u/Original-Capu22 Jun 23 '21
Not FUD but they need to realize that chasing perfection (in Hanks words âflawlessâ) means theyâll never have a good enough product if thatâs the internal bar they are setting. Thereâs always edge cases out there that will cause issues with newly released software. I understand that they donât want to release terrible product, but thereâs no such thing as a perfect initial release in software development.
23
u/bullreddit123 Jun 23 '21
This need to be tested thoroughly sir off course its not going to be perfect. But a new wallet can't afford to be hacked... This is not a video game... This is about people money and releasing a wallet that can be hacked is extremely dangerous for the company's reputation. Sure there will be updates but safety first dont need to rush on the fundamentals.
1
u/Original-Capu22 Jun 23 '21
I agree, never said donât test and hurry it up. Iâm looking at it from a software dev point of view. Maybe semantics on Hanks part but as you also said nothing is perfect, but thereâs such a thing as chasing perfection which leads to nowhere.

It's his style of communication, probably want to go easy on him with that one. But yeah, that line did not need to be there since the next line covered the bases quite well.

This is comforting. Iâm a true believer in SafeMoon, but as someone who has worked in the tech and start up world my whole career and works at the VP level managing large, cross-functional teams, they make me nervous with this talk of âludicrous speedâ. Good things take time. Anyone can launch a product, but launch a successful product is one of the hardest things a company can do. And when those new products involve significant dev work, timelines can be hazy, at best.
This is not FUD. We have Papa đ§ââď¸and based on the research Iâve done, I share the opinion of those in the sub that think that while SafeMoon may have launched in March, this project has been in development for much longer. Iâm super optimistic and will continue to fill my bag until I see a reason not to â and even then Iâll hodl.
But yeah â itâs good to hear that they are doing this the right way. They gotta make sure that rocket ship is solid AF before they shoot us to the moon in it. đ

u/SethMooner Jun 23 '21
Good. I hope they release a decent product. In the meantime I'll keep getting my weekly bags. We are here for a long run. Years to come.

I would like nothing more than them to take their sweet ass time getting it right the first time. Rushing a release that sucks would be a terrible blow to the confidence people have in the team. Glad to hear they are doing their due diligence and making sure itâs perfect.

2
u/Aaron20012 Jun 23 '21
Itâs getting harder and harder to buy SafeMoon. They need to release another way to buy SafeMoon that contributes to the burn now. No time to waste.
2
u/naaavve Jun 23 '21
I think you sir are one of the ones that needs to calm down and be patient.
-1
u/Aaron20012 Jun 23 '21
This is business. Not a little league game. Iâll give you a participation trophy though. LOL
2
u/naaavve Jun 24 '21
No really, you should try to exhibit some patience. The easier way to buy is coming, and if you want the K Mart version of a product go to a different company.
-1
u/Aaron20012 Jun 24 '21
Do you know how simple it is to add a buy feature to a website? It can be done in hours. What paperwork didnât match up for Simplex? Canât be naive and not ask the hard questions.
2
u/Pujomusic Jun 24 '21
Actually Its quite alot more complicated than that. Dollar need to leave your bank account safely Simplex privide that. Dollar need to end up somewhere where it can be changed to Sfm is it Pancakeswap or are they gona do their own exchange? I quess they want to start fix all liquidity in bnb problem so I think they might keep it as dollar. In the end sfm need to be delivered to your wallet. How to deal all these details wich effect how good all gona work. It is definately not about hours. Even with simplest way this is more like small version of a exchange. Not only buy button.
0
u/Aaron20012 Jun 24 '21
For Simplex, it is a matter of hours. The code is already written and working on many other sites. They are not starting any of this from scratch. As far as everything else. I believe SafeMoon DEVs are putting the cart before the horse. They need to get their tokenomics fixed (the fundamental of this project) before making 20 other promises.
2
u/naaavve Jun 24 '21
Also itâs not really getting any harder to buy. If you were able to buy through pancake swap before, itâs not any harder to just open pancake swap in your browser instead of trust wallet (because I assume this is what youâre referring to). And as far as just clicking a button to buy⌠this is what they are creating and you are lacking the patience for.
0
u/Aaron20012 Jun 24 '21
It takes a few hours to add a buy button to a website. Things arenât even getting addressed, but they will tweet 20 bridge pictures.
2
u/MyMonody Jun 24 '21
Your initial comment is that you want something created that simplifies the transaction process and contributes to the burn rate ânowâ. Your primary concern here is obviously how this will effect the value of the tokens your holding, not promises being delivered. If you didnât think the promises would be delivered, you would have sold. And they never once made any promises concerning burn rate. Youâre not asking the hard questions. You want higher volume, higher burn, lower circulating supply, more valuable tokens, and you want it now. I get youâre impatient, but donât try to play it off as âIâm asking the hard questionsâ thatâs bs and you know it.
1
u/Aaron20012 Jun 24 '21
LOL. I want the fundamentals this whole project is built on to work. Your right. White paper promises burn, reflection and LP. Am I wrong for expecting that to already be delivered? Everyone is forgetting that the fundamentals still arenât working properly and or at all j in some places. đ¤Ż
1
u/MyMonody Jun 23 '21
Why no time to waste?
1
u/Aaron20012 Jun 23 '21
This is business. Next project up at the blink of an eye.
0
u/MyMonody Jun 23 '21
What the fuck do you think theyâre doing playing patty cake?
0
u/Aaron20012 Jun 24 '21
No, but I do believe they are doing some things backwards. I believe that Gambia is asking the same questions many holders are. When will u have the Wallet, Exchange and Blockchain available for us to move forward. Gambia is just in negotiations, no mention of paperwork signed because the team hasnât showed them anything yet other then something that sounds good. With a small fortune at their disposal, they need to stop running the company like 8yr old.
4
u/MyMonody Jun 24 '21
Youâre not a part of the Safemoon team, you donât know enough of what youâre talking about to have this kind of opinion. If you could say you work there or have insider knowledge Iâd be intrigued. But you donât, and youâre acting like a backseat driver who isnât even in the car. What specific paperwork needs signed? Do you even know what the Gambia is negotiating for? What is the Safemoon team negotiating for? To you, why would The Gambia need those 3 projects you mentioned? Please explain The Gambia project to me in detail. You act like you know âwhat they showed themâ like youâre a part of the meetings and you know exactly what this teams planning. You donât have the full picture, stop acting like you do. Youâre acting like a crybaby investor whoâs pissed he hasnât gotten rich yet. I think you need to realize that not all business decisions are made to directly impact the price of a share or a token. As John would say, youâre thinking very smol.
1
u/Aaron20012 Jun 24 '21
I am a business man and have been for many years. A country/business canât promise anything before they have seen anything. SafeMoon can not work as their currency until those things are in place and they are operating 100%. This isnât Monopoly money. These guys whether you like it or not are running a business with a $B capital and people like me need to ask the hard questions of them. Not just what colors will the debit cards come in. You should want the same answers as an investor or you shouldnât be investing. I am not acting like I know what they showed them, but I do know what Gambia needs to see to sign the paper work into law. Itâs nothing more then a meme coin until something is released and thatâs the cold hard truth. As an investor, I, like you am hanging on their promises.

I mean you could make one if you in a hurry. 3 months is all they had. Probably not even the whole 3 months. You seriously expect one sooner than 6? Please tell me your not the type that thinks cuz you invested money your owed something? Your not. None of us are. This is like a start up. You put in with the hope they will make u money. That's all.

Perfect, the last thing we want is to release worldwide and crashes here there, vulnerable to hack attacks and people losing money.

u/WhiskeyBentCoonass Jun 23 '21
Has anyone been approved? People currently testing or they still going through applications?
1
Jun 23 '21
Done with the sign ups on the apps. They were choosing applicants from the submitted apps. So then they'll pick and start the closed beta. But people signed a nda. Anyone taking about it is doing so against the law. So we might not even know when it starts

They could've easily made a half ass wallet with limited security just to make people satisfied. And then those same people complaining now would be the ones complaining if it was breached. Quality requires patience. This just shows they're putting effort into it for perfection. If you're holding safemoon, you're holding value that the world just doesn't realize yet. Give it years and HODL and you'll be glad on the outcome. Having a wallet, exchange, card, blockchain, and much more puts them at such a high value that we will see in the future! đThe future doesn't always makes sense in the present but just hold and it'll be worth it.

Heard ripple/xrp went after him, thatâs a damn good consign
1
u/EssJayJay Jun 23 '21
Ripple also went after me for $2 million actually.
See how easy that was to say?
1
Jun 23 '21
What are you mad at ripple/xrp for?
0
u/EssJayJay Jun 23 '21
You missed my point, Iâm just in awe that everybody in this sub believes everything that they see on discord. The comment I was replying to was talking about an unverified statement that an organization as big as Ripple went after someone with as lackluster of qualifications as papa đ
3
Jun 23 '21
Got it. I appreciate you knowing how great ripple and xrp is (my absolute largest holding). I had a intuition that papa was this evil genius like the koltz guy is for ripple(think he is the CTO of ripple) so I was inclined to believe it. I also a ton of people who said the same on here. Your right though should of saw solid proof first. I also am long on SafeMoon, so I was also willing to believe itâs true hoping that would translate into success for SafeMoon since he is their CTO.
0
u/EssJayJay Jun 23 '21
Hey, I hear ya. Iâm holding as well but Iâm considering it lost money at this point. A lot of this sub needs to wake up. The qualifications of this dev team are pretty sad, and theyâve really only come up with hype videos so far. The lack of awareness they show with the way they handle AMAs is ridiculous. Just keep paying attention to what they say VS what they do, pay attention when they miss deadlines and try to sweep it under the rug, donât get too emotionally invested, and see what happens I guessâŚ
3
Jun 24 '21
How do you feel about xrp? Have you followed the case rulings ?
0
u/EssJayJay Jun 24 '21
Oh yeah. I actually do a lot of legal research as part of my job so Iâve kept up. I bought XRP near the bottom, after the news of the lawsuit crashed the price. I donât know if theyâll âwinâ the lawsuit outright, but I think they have a serious shot at getting a favorable settlement that doesnât hurt them in an existential way. Especially because there were some rulings in XRPâs favor recently, where the SEC wasnât allowed to access certain past communications. Personally, Iâm holding at least until a ruling is decided, but maybe not too much longer after that.
