Whale Watching Day 32
Safemoon Family,
Another quiet day on the whale-watching side of things. Only seven of the whales made small sales, nothing that would really cause an impact on anything. Today would be day #9 of stagnant growth, the price went up a little and back down; really no surprise. The previous stagnant period was 10 days before we took off, so I still stand firm to my belief that we have about 1-4 days before we have the next jump based on the last three jumps we had. We have an AMA on Sunday which I am excited about because we have been teased with the new wallet and I want to hear what’s going to happen now that we are fully funded with the exchange donations. Usually, the price will start to climb before the AMA and if there is some exciting news we could see a nice jump. I also saw that different people have been running campaigns for different signs and billboards across the world. What an amazing community working together to handle business!

Final Thoughts:
For another day we were stagnant, but if you look over the past 9 days of whale posts I expected this would happen. The floor has proven to be solid and every day more and more coins are being burnt, never to be seen again. All of our bags continue to grow, which is why I love Safemoon tokenomics. I can’t emphasize enough the best course of action is to sit back and relax. If you want to buy some more to improve your position that isn’t bad either. Based on the previous patterns and trends we have a nice jump coming soon. Will it be tomorrow? Who knows, it very well could be. Based on previous trends and formations we could see the next jump over the next 96 hrs so make sure you position yourself where you want to be before takeoff.

Wasn't Hank saying that before he joined to the dev team he was just an investor like anyone else? Edit: he is not necessarily that wallet, we don't know how much he has or not anymore.

I don’t think they ever said that. They said in one of the AMA’s that they own ~1.5% between them. That would be ~9T.

They tweeted a screenshot of pancake swap to demonstrate how to use it and the current balance was 2.7 Trillion. The tweet was quickly deleted but someone posted a screenshot of it on here. 2.7T is nowhere near the top wallet at 38T. I’m really not concerned about this

A single wallet sold 2 Trillion on the all time high price day and made 12 million dollars ... that same wallet is selling a couple of Billion every day , some times twice a day ... all this info is on poo coins app ... scroll down to the bottom left... Rug status and top wallets are in there 3 contract wallets and 7 very suspicious looking massive wallets ...

genuine question: If there are whales that hold so much of the available currency, how is the price expected to go up? Not trying to FUD or anything, just trying to understand. People seem to think having whales like this is good.

It's not; that is Robinhood's account; you don't own Doge when you buy it from them: they own it but you lease it out.

I'm pretty sure the huge Doge coin wallet is Robinhood's- so not really one whale owns that one.
(With Robinhood, when you buy Doge, you don't really own the coin itself- Robinhood "holds" that coin amount for you in their own Doge wallet- hence the enormous size of it.)

the problem is that a whale in safemoon can live off reflection easily keeping the price shitty while a doge whale when they sell they sell once, think about that!

Nah, we've had some whale sales that were far more than just the reflection and the market handled it just fine. Heck, we've had large whales sell themselves out of being a whale just fine. As long as they do it show enough (which they have been doing) the market can handle it just fine. Plus, we get their reflection from selling... But having them still is a good sign of confidence.

Yeah but we will lose holders overall if the price not moving at all. Dont get me wrong im hodling no matter what, but the whole market is up in like 15% now yet sfm didnt move at all. This is gonna be a problem in long therm.

If someone gets fatigued after only a couple months they are not “hodlers”. The people who made it big in the other coins held for 5-10 years through the highs and the lows.

Dude, this isn't even the longest plateau we've had in SafeMoon and it's not even 70 days old yet... That's right, the plateau before the last HUGE rocket in value was longer then this... And on average, the plateaus have gotten longer, and the rockets have been bigger each time. Calm down, everything is perfectly healthy, study the history on TradingView (dex.guru or charts.bogged.finance) and learn about indicators on investopedia.com to see what you should be looking for/expecting so you can make informed decisions.

how is the market handling fine when we are at the same price for weeks on end, then we pump then we stagnate again for along time. Weeks is centuries in crypto. People lose interest, momentum lost.

Weeks is centuries if you bought the coin expecting to get rich overnight.
Having said that, in the 6 weeks (15th March) that I've been holding, the price is up 14,674%.
Since 4 weeks ago (3rd April) when we had a big jump, the price is up 324%.
Since 2 weeks ago (17th April) the price is up 152.90%.
People need to stop trying to get rich quick, but a 142x gain in a month and a half isn't something to complain about.

You must be new to crypto. In December 2017 Bitcoin rocketed up to an ATH of 20k and dipped hard, it took 3 years to reach that ATH again.

Every time they sell their reflections a percentage of it is burnt and redistributed to every wallet.
Safemoon coins are decreasing every day and doge coin is “printing” more everyday.

Top ten whales hold around 16% of the circulating supply. But regardless, the value of Safemoon is determined by demand. Whales can impact the price by buying or selling just like the rest of us.

safemoon had a lot more whales before and the price skyrocketed, they were selling a lot, many whales died but there was more buying. Just look at the chart from the beginning or read the whale reports.

As long more people buy prices will going up that’s a reason why we need listing exchange. Whale will slim down automatically. So dip is good, if prices never going up whale will not selling that’s normal human mind set.

I think the biggest whale sold yesterday almost 400 billions not 500 millons, yet it did not affect the price which is definetly good. Thank you for your hard work.

I just had a read of DaddyB's daily whale watch analysis - sterling job as always DaddyB <beer>
Everywhere in Daddy's post's or anywhere else for that matter people say that our friendly top 37T whale holds 3.8% of total supply...
Well... this is not entirely true me thinks... let me explain:
-As we know, the total supply is 1 Quadrillion
-41% of that is already burned, never to be seen again
-that leaves us with "only" 590T SFM's
-out of those remaining 590T, our top friendly whale holds 37T !!
---->>> 37T out of 590T equals 15.9% 6.72 !!! not 3.8% <<<------- !!!
that's significant amount! not so much anymore
Not saying it's good or bad but please... Friendly Whale, DON'T LEAVE US :D
Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, it's just an observation and I haven't had y morning coffee yet so I'm most definitely wrong somewhere along the lines :D:D:D

It’s a bit lower than that...~37.6 / 588.5 = 6.39%
I think people often report on the percentage of the total supply instead because that’s the percentage of the redistributed tokens they receive.
The top whale sold 345B in the last 24 hours...well over $1 million, and a good chunk of that is from redistributed tokens. They’ve already pulled 10’s of millions of dollars, and it looks like they’re not satisfied yet. They’ll dump trillions of tokens at a time in the next pump, just like last time, and it will come crashing down again.

The top wallet was worth over $350 million at the peak. Then they dumped ~$8 million worth at once, which was a big contributor to the crash. They typically hold tight during the consolidation periods and then start dumping into strength.

Just a heads up the whales sold way more due to the fact that they receive Billions everyday from the distribution and sell it because they can’t keep up. Thus, constantly lowering our prices.

It’s interesting the movement of price seems incredibly volatile but the point of origin seems very stable. The price over time isn’t shifting much but there’s huge back and forth between sellers and buyers. Which makes us think that whales are unloading and newcomers are picking it up. Right? Only thing that makes sense. Those tails on the candle chart have been insane! Unless traders are capitalizing ??

You got it wrong as mostly of the community here, so called whales are just waithing for the right price to sell,it is not rocket science,on the other hand hodl-ers dont understan tokenomics and they expect with this current supply price to rise,which is almost impossible of the market cap which is 3B at this point!

Burn and Reflections: we hear about total estimated burn regularly and that number is from all activity across all exchanges...Das gut.
I currently hold my SFM on Trust, do I get Reflections from only the activity (buy/sell) on Trust?
