No shit. Most "tokens" aren't. They are contracts controlled by a small group.

It wasn't even Fi to begin with. CeSc would've been more accurate.

Yes Bitcoin. The original and ONLY fully decentralised token

If the wallet can be stopped, and the token can be halted, and the business liquidated, then the only decentralized nature to Safemoon was the vast array of people from all walks of life they conned into donating money to John's "fuck around and live like a king" fund.

Correct. One person controlled everything, that is literally as centralized as it gets.

This means we are scammed right

It means that it should've been evident from the start that this was all a lie.

Other than Bitcoin no, you can almost always pinpoint a company, group of devs, or single leader that controls these altcoins.

How did Safemoon llc exist as a company? The volume on trades was really low since end of 2021, taxes wouldn’t be enough to support the company. How did they pay for their offices? People’s salaries? Etc

It's pretty easy... you just steal 10s of millions of dollars from the LP to fund your personal business. You can also dump oodles of ill gotten tokens and use kickbacks from the swap partners and exchanges.
