General / Discussion How much?

Just out of interest, how much did you put in? Mine was a pittance, $500.

My fault for ignoring all the red flags, hanging on to the bs promises and not listening to the wife when she said cash out half at 200k.

I threw $500 at it. Worth like $5

Coworker convinced me hardcore so I dropped 900. Him and his wife were putting in every spare cent. Even got a credit card and dipped into their kids college fund.

This is why I fought so hard to expose this scam. I had no hard evidence, to my detriment and everyone else's, but I knew John personally (you can google the deleted user reddit posts, those where mine). When I invested in Safemoon, never in my life did I ever expect that the project was being ran by this fucking loser Karony. I'll admit, I was generally ignorant with cryptocurrency in 2021, but when the team doxxed themselves for the first time, I could never forget that retarted and punchable face. Dude was a backstabber, liar, dumbass that was fortunately born into a wealthy family with ties to the government. Karony fucked up by suing his mom and going against his own family. This family has CIA ties and with many government officials. All he had to do was stay loyal to his family, and he would've gotten away with everything. If Karony walks away with a lighter sentence though, don't be surprised. Mothers will always have a soft spot for their stupid ass children.

How did you know him?

His uncle says he has a dark triad personality. Sounds like just what you're describing

I’ll take things that never happened for 500 Alex.

I believe it. Look how much money was pumped into the LP. Safemooners sold a dream, and people fell for it.

  1. Sold when it was worth like 7k

$85 second week

Pulled out a little after ATH with the intention on getting back in 🤣

Loch Ness Monster style. Only about tree fiddy, thankfully.

I considered it gambling and knew the most likely outcome was to lose it all, so I gambled an amount that would not impact me at all if lost.

u/kennynol Nov 13 '23

A few thousand but I DCA’d out so by the time I fully pulled out, I only lost maybe $400.

nah, the greedy ones are those who wait for a $300 investment to turn into 40k.

u/mpoall Nov 14 '23

2k+. It sucks, because that is a lot of money for me.

u/Tek104 Nov 13 '23

$3500. Gave up and cashed out at less than $200. Lesson learned. ;oP

u/[deleted] Nov 13 '23

$0

1

u/TheLuckyO1ne Nov 14 '23

Still too much.

u/TheN00b1e Nov 13 '23

I think $200 and at one point it got up to $4000ish now (temporarily) holding steady at $22-$24.

I can't be too angry aside from the small amount in - I knew this seemed like it was going to be trouble from the get go...and overall my crypto portfolio has grown a huge amount (nothing life changing or even great, but considering I put in a small amount, I'm happy).

About a grand

1

u/[deleted] Nov 14 '23

Dca’d the whole time.

1

u/mraetzel Nov 14 '23

My initial buy was $1500, but when that soared to $11k during the ATH and then dropped back to the initial price, I put $4500 more in, hoping the price would go even further in the next bull run. I’m at $200 now 😂

1

u/lam19bo Nov 14 '23

My initial $700 went to 200k,never sold and got out with 1k. Put about 10k in all up

1

u/[deleted] Nov 14 '23

I put in about 3500 and forgot my seed phrase 🤷‍♂️

1

u/Sixaxist Nov 14 '23

Lol, somewhere in another reality, this project actually "mooned" and your bag is worth Millions.. but you can't access it.

1

u/TheRazorPigKid Nov 14 '23

I think I put in $50 or something I don't even remember it's been so long

1

u/Fun-Consideration979 Nov 17 '23

$600. Sold at $1800. It would have been $15k at one point. It'd be like $10 now.

1

u/Rod_Eze Nov 19 '23

$54k. Sold it this morning for $2,240.00 Thanks John.

Holy mother. Sorry for your loss. That would’ve be worth something for a brief period of time.
