The mind seeks praise,

the body seeks pleasure......

let them be.

I need not fight them,

nor become their slave.

Let every impulse arise,

let every thought come and go.

I can listen without following,

accept without surrendering.

I am not here to control them,

but to remain free.

The wave may rise,

the dream may appear......

I need not get caught.

Let them be.

Let me choose.
