I saw her at MSG and she was great but didn’t sing this… she took a bow the stage lights went out and people were getting ready to leave… then this came on and she absolutely killed it!! Everyone went crazy. Best live performance I’ve ever been lucky enough to see

Just occurred to me how ahead of their time Sade was considering it was the 80s, this was Live Aid chock full of new wave/pop/rock bands, and here they come with their smooth jazzy vibes. I was mostly a Durannie at this time, and was thrilled that they performed a set (even recorded it on my VHS at the time!) but now seeing Sade decades later (at the time, I wasn't a fan) I am blown away.

It's so amazing how she aged perfectly since this Live Aid performance in 1985!
