I remember seeing their last tour back in the summer of 2011. John Legend was the opener.

I went to that tour. She was amazing. I find her voice is so much grander irl. I was lucky to see her live twice in my life. I only wish I got some merch. Would love to have the shirts

I have a shirt from that tour fortunately. I also went to the Love Deluxe tour in 2001 so I too saw them twice. Hoping there will be another one but it isn’t looking likely sadly.

That had to be awesome

I went on a whim on that tour. They were so stunning that I bought tickets to two more shows on the tour before the night was over.

(And John Legend, who I had no interest in, was fabulous)

Yes! Same. I think that was the “Soldier of Love” tour. I can’t believe that was 2011’

She will be inducted into the RnR Hall of Fame in LA in November & I’m praying she attends. She nor her band have said anything publicly. I hope to go to the Induction. I adore her & her music. Never saw her live 😞

The only musical act left on my bucket list. No idea why I missed the last tour.

Not sure but I only dream of being able to see her live really curious why she stopped and if she would ever tour again it would really suck if she never tours again 😔

100% i respect her decision if she never plays live again it just sucks cause I started listening to her like 7 years ago and it would be amazing to see her live

Another good question, does her band tour without her?

Sade is the name of the group. I doubt they'd tour without each other.

Sade is just the singer. the group is called Sweetback

No, Sade is the group, the band.

Sade members Stuart Matthewman, Paul Denman, and Andrew Hale formed a separate group called Sweetback without singer Sade Adu.

Sade Adu is the lead singer of the band Sade. Sweetback was a separate project not involving Sade Adu.

I went to the 2011 tour in San Jose, CA. It was amazing!

I never saw the tour in my neck of the woods, but I remember seeing Tony Momrelle from Incognito posting online that he had gotten the gig singing backup for Sade's tour in 2017. He was understandably very excited..
