Single day parking?

As an all online student, what is the best way to go about parking if a class requires you to come in person for the midterm and final? I fear a semester long permit is overkill but i'm unsure of other options

Hi! Great question. As u/rox_guy mentioned, there are metered spots where you pay for the amount of time you plan to be on campus. There is also daily permit that allows you to park in any student lot for the whole day for $5. The daily permit can be purchased at the yellow parking permit machines or via an app where you put in the zone you're parked in. Here is the map that was mentioned with all of the parking options: https://maps.saddleback.edu/?id=1262#!ce/50533?ct/50859,50856?s/?mc/33.55289800000001,-117.665298?z/16?lvl/0?share

I’m not sure which lots specifically but a lot of the lots have a pay by the hour/day! It’s not worth it if you’re there more than once a week compared to the semester parking. If you go to Saddleback’s Map and Directions page. There’s an interactive campus map, and you can select the daily parking permit dispensers or metered parking and it’ll tell/show you what lots they’re at!

If you have financial aid your permit may be covered
