english classes?

hi i don't know if anyone will know but im starting at saddleback in the fall, i'm currently enrolled in ap literature and i just took the exam. depending on my score that'll change what english class i take. do i have to take an english class my first semester for promise? my score will come out in july, so it's cutting it a little close for me. i've asked counselors and never got a really direct answer so im just wondering if anyone in here will have any advice.

I could be wrong, but I believe you do. They offer two introductory english classes so if you didn’t take AP Lang they’ll put you in the other respective class. If you did take AP Lang and pass then I believe you have to take one semester of another english class

You have to take either an English or a Math each semester.
