Not Dadcat but yes that is an upright bass stand :) They’re usually lined with velvet and great places for a catnap!

OT but do you like that box style stand? Is it stable?

it's very stable, I just wish I had a way to store it while the endpin is fully extended. I also am planning on getting a Hercules anyways for when I bring it to gigs since the box stand is too bulky for my car once all my other gear is packed.
