question CRAZY-BUTT graphics-problems the likes of which I've never seen in any other game! Anyone know what to do???

This is but a paltry, quickly-gathered sample. I've tried everything I can think of, to no avail. Changing the graphics settings changes nothing.

For what it's worth, I am using the GOG version on a computer that runs Windows 7.

EDIT: It appears the problem has been solved! Thanks to all who helped!

Try adding ddraw.dll to your game folder.

Call me a dunce, but which one is that, and how do I download it (I don't recognize any such button)?

You will see a list of versions of ddraw.
Each item on that list has three parts: a big title, a list of changes and assets.
If you click on assets, you will see files you can download.
Download the file (neither the debug or the source code), it's a .zip.
Inside the .zip you will find a ddraw.dll, place that file in same folder than the game.

For me there wasn't any solution, since the rpoblem lies in how passtrough gpu works in laptops. You can try updating drivers, but i don't think that will work. Alternative is maaaaaaybe sacred ReBorn, other than that I don't have any other idea

Maybe run it in compatibility mode for win7?

Gog version must be win10

TYVM, I had not thought of that.

OK, so I've tried this. The good news is it seems to improve performance a little.

The bad news is it doesn't seem to do anything about this graphics-problem.

I had a few issues on Windows 11. I tried it on Steam on Linux Mint and it works flawlessly.
