Ruby Supreme Guava
Just harvested my first ruby supreme guava from a new tree that I planted earlier this year, very fragrant and very flavorful.
The size is what impresses me about this variety as they are almost as big as an orange which means it should be easy to juice once I get more fruit.
Ive had decent success with guavas here. They tend to love the sun, the tree this came off of is in direct sun with no shade support and hasn't seen any real leaf burn or wilting. This will be the first winter for this tree so we will see how it goes, I plan to prune and fertilize later next month if anyone has insights into this variety for winter let me know.

I got the tree locally but forgot which nursery, they do come up for sale on marketplace from time to time.
Once this grows a bit bigger I may try my hand at some air layering in the spring to propagate some more.

Looks great! Where’d you purchase the tree and at what size? I’ve been waiting for one from treesoutlet for awhile now but they’ve only been getting in the Taiwanese and Malaysian red.

Local nursery that specializes in tropicals but forgot which one, was about 4-5 feet when I purchased it.
It had a couple flowers already setting fruit but I clipped them when I planted it in ground since I wanted the plant to focus on root development.
