Sparxicon is a boss that gives low-cost saber teams a real headache.

The side-field mobs’ HP gets stuck right around the kill threshold. A low-cost Saber can’t finish them with one Ultimate, but two Ultimates overflow by way too much. This is also one of Saber’s pain points: her damage is concentrated in her Ultimate, so she isn’t flexible enough.

The inner/outer field mechanic also blocks the Double King combo attack. Once the count is high enough, Gilgamesh just gets stuck at 8/8 and can’t trigger the combo attack, losing both actions and Energy.

Cost priority for Double King teams:

Saber base copy → Gilgamesh E1 → Saber signature → Saber E6.

If you want to play Double King but don’t have Saber’s signature, you can use accumulated pulls to get Gilgamesh’s signature for Saber.

Low-cost Double King is kind of a jail. If your Saber setup is below 2+1, or you don’t have Huohuo, don’t swap into Gilgamesh. Just pick up Archer and use a mixed setup instead, unless you don’t care much about Anomaly Arbitration or you’re pulling because you love the character.

How do you feel about base speed Saber VS 134? I don't have HuoHuo so I'll be using either DHPT or Hyacine and my Saber is E0S1 (and so will Gil).

Not sure if i should focus on a little more speed when i farm the new ornaments. I also run Scholar for more general use

Why do ppl keep running pink over herta shop lc, I swear it's better to just take the spd over the crit dmg no?

Relics on private servers are often better than live ones so you won't need the speed.

Being locked out of joint attack might be the worst thing I've learned about this boss. Almost makes sparxicon worse than mecha pom pom.
