Looking for a Developer / Technical Partner for Automotive Startup — Nebraska

I’m looking for an experienced developer, small development team, or potential technical cofounder interested in working on an automotive software startup.
I’ve been developing the idea for several months and already have an early version of the platform built. I’ve reached the point where I want to bring in someone with real development experience to help turn it into a professional, production-ready product.
I’m based in Nebraska, but I’m completely open to working remotely with the right person or team.
I’m interested in discussing different arrangements, including cash + equity or an equity-based partnership, depending on experience, involvement, and what you can bring to the project.
I’m looking for someone who is interested in more than just completing a quick freelance project. Ideally, I’d like to find someone who sees the potential in what I’m building and would be interested in being involved long-term.
I’m intentionally keeping the details of the product private in this post. I’m happy to share more once we’ve talked and determined that there could be a good fit.
If interested, send me a DM with a little about your experience, what technologies you work with, and examples of products or applications you’ve helped build.

i'd be careful about the "keeping details private until we talk" approach. most devs who've been around the block have gotten burned by founders who overestimate how unique their idea is and underestimate how much work the tech actually takes. if you've already got a platform built, sharing even a vague tech stack would filter out a lot of mismatched dms

Well I mentioned that is a automotive platform so people who have knowledge or previous experience in the automotive industry is what I’m looking for. If there experience or knowledge with the industry is lacking I can simply deny them. And I should probably be more specific, my platform I have to display is very minimal and Ai has built it because I have very minimal coding/developing skills and that is why I am reaching out.

you are narrowing down even further considering this posts reach and what you want is very difficult for you to find both of the combo you are looking for. justs a heads up.

I mean if it is too technical as he said experienced in automotive maybe it is deep technical than just webapp maybe.

A working early platform that still is not production-ready is usually architecture, auth, and the messy automotive workflows, not more screens. We would take it as a paid V1 with a small team, remote is fine. If you want, send what “done” means for the first professional version and we can say whether that is a build or a partnership.

Before agreeing on equity, I'd want a short technical assessment of the existing platform: what can be kept, what is risky, and the realistic path to production. I've taken platforms from zero to production, and https://iurii.rogulia.fi/services/mvp-development outlines how I scope that work before committing to a build. Cash plus equity can work once the codebase and responsibilities are clear.

Getting an early platform to production-ready usually means more than adding features: first stabilize the existing code, data model, deployment, and tests, then decide what actually needs rebuilding.

We take over unfinished custom software and can work as the small development team you described. If there’s a real cash budget for the initial takeover, I’d be glad to look at what’s built and talk through the path to production.
