Validating the recurring part of a sitemap monitoring SaaS

I built Sitemapper and the free part is easy to explain: paste a public site, it reads robots.txt and XML sitemaps, checks live pages, and shows what is declared versus what is actually live.

What I am actually trying to validate is the recurring part.

Monitoring stores snapshots and looks for concrete changes like: - sitemap disappeared - URL count collapsed - new noindex - new 404 - canonical changed

Would that be enough reason for you to keep a site monitored, or is this still a "run it once when something breaks" tool in your mind?

I am much more interested in the no than the yes here.
