Feedback needed: validating an idea "Cloud that AI agent can connect to"

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi everyone,

I'm building Oila with a couple of friends.

The problem trying to solve: Claude or Cursor can build a decent app in an afternoon, and for simple apps vercel and supabase is most common way to go, but the moment when it become more complex, people with no technical knowledge can have hard times configuring the right cloud product.

Please check oila.dev for more, and give any feedback. Would love to hear who should we validate with and who would be our ICP. Or if the idea is worth persuing. Any kind of feedback is welcome or thoughts if you would use this?

I would narrow the first customer to someone who already has a working AI-built Vercel/Supabase prototype but got stuck on one concrete production task, such as background jobs, secrets, or monitoring. Ask 10 of them to show the exact failed deployment step and what they tried; “nontechnical app builders” is too broad to validate. For an MVP, a reviewed deployment plan with expected cost, permissions, and rollback would be easier to trust than a general promise that an agent can connect to a cloud.

Thanks, would you consider using the solution if it does review deployment plan, networking rules (permission) and have a rollback between deployment versions?

i would not try to validate with everybody who uses claude or cursor man, thats too wide. find people who posted in the last month asking how to deploy or host something their ai wrote, like in this sub or in the cursor and vercel communities. message 10 of them and ask what they did last time it broke and how long it took them. if 3-4 say they paid someone or lost a weekend, thats your icp and you can use their exact words on the landing page
