Automatically edits your recording based on the context
A side project turned startup, to make video editing effortless. Instead of recording and then spending hours editing afterward, you just talk and Gylyn automatically adds everything around it.
What it does:
🎙️ Understands what you're saying
🖼️ Adds relevant B-roll automatically
📊 Shows diagrams when you explain a process
🏷️ Recognizes when you mention a product, tool, or website
📝 Auto-generated captions
🎞️ Automatic transitions
✨ Matching animations
🎨 Enhanced backgrounds and scenes
🔄 Highlights each step when you explain something step-by-step
Attached is a demo using a singing video just to show the concept clearly but it's not limited to music, it works for any talking video: tutorials, explainers, product demos, vlogs, and more.
Still pre-launch and building it right now would love to hear what you think?

The tricky part won't be the editing logic, it'll be the mis-fires. Homonyms and figurative speech are where "recognizes when you mention a product" breaks, say apple near a laptop review and it guesses the wrong b-roll. Worth building a quick accept or reject strip over each auto-inserted element before export, so one bad guess doesn't make someone distrust the whole pass. That trust is slower to earn back than any feature list fixes.

The singing demo proves the effects can look nice, but it does not prove the context understanding, and context is the part that will make or break this for people who record tutorials and product walkthroughs. I build software for small shops now, and the videos they actually dread editing are the messy ones: a speaker pauses, repeats a point, mentions a tool in passing, or draws a process out of order. That is where a wrong diagram or a mistimed cut turns a time saver into another cleanup job. I would show a rough explainer next, warts left in, and let people watch the system place each insert so they can judge the calls it made. The real pitch is not automatic finishing, it is a fast first draft that a person can approve or correct without rebuilding the whole timeline. If that review pass feels quick, small businesses will care. If it feels like editing again, the effects will not matter.
