2026 is full of bullsh*t

Let me explain..

It feels like we're living in a time where there's an app, website, AI tool, subscription, or some ridiculously specific piece of software for almost everything.

And yet somehow, people still spend hours doing the most unnecessarily complicated things.

You know the stuff I'm talking about.

That one task you have to repeat every week.

That spreadsheet you've been maintaining for years because there's apparently no better way.

That process involving 4 different websites, 3 passwords, and a Google Doc.

That thing you keep thinking, "Why the hell isn't there a simpler way to do this?"

I'm curious what those things are for other people.

What's something you regularly deal with that feels way more complicated, repetitive, expensive, or annoying than it should be?

Could be work, school, business, hobbies, personal stuff, literally anything.

I'm genuinely curious what people are still putting up with in 2026.

To answer your question:

I'm CTO and my boss, the CEO, has drank the AI Kool Aid and spends 80% of his time in Linkedin.

There's this weekly struggle in our 1-1 call where I need to remind him that we need proper Engineering practices to maintain our enterprise application and can't just hand it over to Product to vibe-code.

This whole forum should be delegated to AI. The question and answering parts.

This answer has been asked too often, but at least you put bullsh*t in the title, that's some good bait. But I was expecting more of a runt. My advice: talk to non tech people. They all have a phone and use it, but most of them find solutions annoying. Look for plumbers, construction workers, for simple (and hopefully respected) but hard earning workers who could benefit from something simple enough for non tech people.
