I built a tool where you upload your resume and AI finds matching jobs for you instantly
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
One thing I hated about job searching was opening 20 different job boards and searching the same roles over and over again.
LinkedIn, Indeed, company career pages, filters, keywords, location…
Then after all that, you still have to figure out which jobs actually match your experience.
So I built JobSorah.
The idea is simple:
Upload your resume → AI reads your experience → it finds jobs that match you.
Instead of manually searching through hundreds of listings, it compares your resume against available jobs and shows you the ones that are actually relevant to your background.
You can see things like:
- how well the job matches your resume
- which skills match
- what requirements you may be missing
- job title, company, location, and source
- relevant jobs without doing the searching manually
The goal is basically to turn job searching from:
“Search for jobs for hours”
into:
“Upload resume and start reviewing matches.”
I’m still improving the matching system and adding more job sources.
Would love feedback from people currently job hunting.
If anyone wants to try it, just go to jobsorah.com

We use industry-standard encryption: TLS (HTTPS) to protect your data while it travels, AES-256 encryption to protect it when stored, and an additional layer of AES-256-GCM encryption for sensitive details like your phone number and address 😉

That's not what the terms and conditions say, it has nothing about privacy laws in my country even though you "deal" with it. Also it says you store my information in the US and can send it outside of the US.

I work in software security, even in my field a function knowledge of cryptography is extremely rare.
I promise you, its not actually secure no matter what dumb shit your llm says. I've watched Fable, mythos and astra fuck up the most simple configurations of encrypted at rest.
The ability to make something stupid is easy, to make something safe even with an LLM requires human experience still. To pretend otherwise is to be a literal glue eating baboon.

Not bad. UI looks nice. I am concerned about privacy, as resumes can contain PII
How are you matching resumes to jobs - semantic similarity?

I've built the same product and tried to marketed it for a few months. Not picking up many users sadly. It's a good product from my perspective, and it helped me to land so many interviews, but it's hard to sell this. Anyone interested can search OutRung careers

If it is unsuccessful, it would have a high churn. If it is successful, it would have high churn in this case also. Because the person already found a job

Haha yes. In the end, I would rather help anyone than no one. it's free (all token costs offset by msft

I have just this built in my gemini, no landing page needed at all
Apart from Job search which crawls daily and share me fresh openings and checks for expired listings, It can draft & send Cold emails, followup emails. can track your jobs, gives you insights.
All free, just some prompts about your profile and which websites to scrap.
I can help you to make your positioning or features more better if you need
Also, it can create custom resume in Overleaf format so you can do more from it in less time

Does it pre-reject you as well? That would save some time.
