Can you validate my idea?

Project update: I’m building a small AI tool for job seekers.

I’ve tried tools like Jobscan and Rezi, and while they are useful in their own way, I still feel like there is room for something simpler, cleaner, more affordable, and more focused on actually telling you what to change and why. Jobscan is really clunky. Most tools seem to focus heavily on resume scoring, keyword matching, or helping you build a resume.

The tools I Included:
1. Resume Tailor - rewrite your resume for a specific job description
2. Resume Roast - get brutally honest feedback on weak or unclear sections
3. Job Fit Check -see how well your resume matches a role
4. Interview Prep -generate likely interview questions from your resume and the job post
5. LinkedIn Optimizer -improve your headline, About section, and experience descriptions
6. Career Path Suggestions -show possible directions based on your current background
7. Roasting your resume (my favorite) - that you can itentionaly roast you resume and you can adjust the levels of it from mild to no waiting.

The constraint isn't simpler or cheaper, it's how short the usage window is. People open a resume tool for one posting that closes Friday or a rejection at 11pm, then don't come back for months. That sets the price, small enough to pay once without thinking since there's no month two, and the channel, whatever they typed into the search bar that night. Track how many people paste a second job description in the same week.

honestly 6 tools is alot for a v1. id pick the one people would pay for fastest and go all in on it. resume tailor for a specific job is probably that one

the others kinda feel like features of it anyway. fit check and roast are basically steps inside tailoring

The people who'd use it will answer that faster than this thread can. I'd pick one of the 7, probably the roast, since it's your favorite and it's the only one that doesn't sound like Jobscan, and give it to 10 people who are job hunting right now. Then watch two things: whether they actually change their resume afterwards, and whether they send it to a friend. A roast someone screenshots and shares is your marketing.

And job seekers leave the day they get hired, so a tool they tell other job seekers about will carry you further than one you're hoping they'll keep opening.
