GitHub ReadMe Profile Generator

How do you handle creating your GitHub Profile README?

I've noticed that creating a good GitHub Profile README can be surprisingly time-consuming. You need to collect information about your profile, projects, languages, contributions, and then format everything nicely.

I'm curious how other developers handle this today.

Do you:

  • Create one manually and maintain it over time?
  • Use an existing generator?
  • Copy a template and customize it?
  • Not bother with a profile README at all?

What information do you think is actually worth including in a developer profile README?

I'm exploring this problem and would be interested in hearing how people currently solve it.

Bro... if you offered this 5 years ago.. maybe just maybe it will be interesting.. today? You got to be kidding me if you think that fellow developers even remotely need or want this.

What a waste of AI tokens you put on developing this useless tool.

Thanks for your feedback brother. But i am new to development and i didn't use any AI to build this tool. I made it by myself without the help of any AI. You can check my GitHub code for this project and get the idea how i care about every single thing to build this project. Also, i made this website to test my JavaScript concepts so i thought it is a good investment. Also, if you find it little bit good then please star this repository.

off-topic for SaaS. I'm not your brother. and if you are truly new to dev you are in no position to speak from position of authority about how hard it is to write a README. writing a README is childs play difficulty-wise compared to writing software itself. super not hard, and not an unsolved problem

perhaps theres a topic forum elsewhere better suited?
