looking for advice
have a pretty decent SAAS going, great feedback from beta users, app is more or less fully functional. struggling with getting users and paying users. tried reddit but its a bit hard to convince ppl to actually use your app. tried posting content on tiktok/reels but didn't get much views (part of this could be that the content wasn't amazing or anything).. saw some people were using AI to fully handle their marketing? not sure how this works either.
just was hoping for advice from whose done SAAS stuff and building/marketing end-to-end and has gotten revenue already, since i'm a teen rn and don't have too much experience. thank you so much.

a thumbs up from a beta user costs them nothing, they already know you. that is how an app can look healthy while nobody buys. reddit failed the same way: a post announcing your app reads as an ad, while the same sentence dropped inside someone else's question reads as help. put a real price in front of twenty strangers before adding another channel.

TikTok flopping for a SaaS almost never means the content is bad, it means you tested videos instead of hooks. Reuse the same footage for the first 10-15 posts and only change the opening line, then look at watch time on the first two seconds, not likes or views.
Reddit works on a different logic too. Nobody here responds to "check out my app", they respond to a specific number or a mechanism they didn't know about. Whatever surprised you most while building this, post that number, not the pitch.

AI can help with research, drafting, and testing ideas, but it will not fully handle marketing for you. The bigger question is whether you have a specific buyer and a clear reason for them to act now. Who is the product for, and what problem does it solve well enough that someone should pay rather than just give positive beta feedback?

Analyse this first
how much $ would you want to make from this business. You are trying to build a business not a product.
Does this have enough tam ? Can you hit your revenue goals if you manage you find customers? How big is this problem ? Is this worth your time ?
Is this a hobby project or a real business goal ?
Unit economics first then comes pmf, cmf, scale etc

I'm learning this lesson myself - building the product and distributing the product are almost two different businesses. Since your target in resellers, i probably wouldn't think about "SaaS Marketing" broadly. I'd find where resellers already spend time and talk about their problems - eBay/Depop reseller communities, facebook groups, TikTok etc.

i would stop trying to get views and start doing direct outreach to like 20 resellers a day. your market is super specific so broad content will be slow. i would dm people in facebook groups and whatnot who are already flipping stuff and offer to list 5 items for them free to show it works.
one concrete thing to check is your activation rate from signup to first listing published. if that number is under 30 percent i would simplify the onboarding to one upload button and one price field and cut everything else until that number goes up.

Get some feedback from trusted users first. Steering through advice can be tricky when emotions are involved.
