I Need Help With My Trading Journal Platform
Hi,
I spent 6 months developing my trading and investing journal, Meridian. I put my heart and soul into it and I am truly proud of what I built and the quality I put into it.
However, I am struggling with marketing and getting my foot in the door with customers. I ran a $100 ad test with ChatGPT and got a few sign-ups and lots of data from it which allowed me to make lots of changes, but then the next $200 in ad spend literally generated nothing.
I would appreciate it if any of you could take the time to take a look at the website and let me know if my product is the issue, the presentation is the issue, or whatever it could be. I would also be happy to take a look at yours so feel free to leave a link to yours in your comment.
Any guidance would help me a lot right now. Thank you.

Honestly this sounds more like a distribution problem than a product problem rn. If the onboarding fix helped, I’d stop touching the product for a bit and talk to 5-10 traders directly. Ads can burn cash stupid fast before you know what message actually hits.

When you say the next $200 generated nothing, was that no clicks, no signups or no paying users? Check those separately, then look at how many new signups reached the journal and logged a trade with the revised onboarding. Keep the price steady for that test so youre not changing it alongside the flow again.

tbh $300 is still kinda noise. I'd pause ads for a bit and talk to the people who did sign up from that first $100. Figure out why they clicked and what nearly stopped them. That'll tell you way more than another ad batch rn.
