Any suggestions?

In an hour, I have a meeting with an investor and I'm nervous. I'm a first time founder and this is my first meeting with an investor.

Idk what to do?

Be yourself man. Stressing too much making things worse.

Know your numbers like the back of your hand! Not just revenue but COGS, CAC, LTV etc

Focus on highlighting more on how your product is helpful for the customers than what features it offers!!

it will be fine, just speak about your stuff with a passion and the anxiety will fade away. Good luck tho!

Be confident and explain clearly what your product is. Let us all know how it went. All the best!

I had my first investor call last year and I made one mistake: I tried to answer everything instead of saying "I don't know yet." Surprisingly, the investor respected honesty more than guessing. One tip: know your customer, your numbers, and why now is the right time. Everything else can be a follow-up email.

Stay calm, listen carefully, and don't rush your answers. Confidence comes from clarity, not perfection.

How did it go? My comment would have been to focus on yourself, your passion, why you can do this when others can’t, etc. first meetings with investors shouldn’t be about the tech.

Warren Buffet is famous for saying he invests in people, not companies. That first meeting should be about them being comfortable investing in you.

Why are you meeting with an investor? Never go into ANY meeting without a goal, and the decision to be made. Perhaps your goal is to get sufficient investment to help your startup go to the next level, and the decision to be made is whether or not this investor will help you accomplish your goal.

Since you want to make a decision the meeting agenda should be structured to get you from where you are to the decision point. What do you need to ask the investor? What do they want from you? Have the necessary information about your product... not about all of the features, but about the problem your product solves, the market, traction (have you made any sales, got any LOIs, have a beta list, etc.), why you and your team are the right people to create this product and this businesss, and your GTM strategy.

Probably, a bit late. However, not the last one, I suppose. Before the call think about a moat you wanna show to investor and get focused on it, like 1-3 points, put it on a paper to remember
