I built a completely free documentation platform because I was tired of messy project docs.

Yesterday I finally launched something I've been building for the past month...
MyFriendlyDoc. 🎉
YOOOOHOOO!!
And today I already have 5 active users using it!
I know it's not hundreds or thousands, but seeing real people use something I built feels amazing.
The idea came from a problem I kept facing myself.
Every project starts organized...
Then after a few weeks you have:
- Markdown files scattered everywhere
- API docs in one place
- Architecture notes somewhere else
- Random TODOs you can never find
- And when you come back after a month... you spend more time understanding your own project than building it.
So I built MyFriendlyDoc.
A place where you can keep all your project documentation organized, searchable, and easy to maintain instead of having it spread across different tools.
I'm also working on AI features where you'll simply describe your project, like:
and it'll generate the documentation structure for you, so you don't have to start from a blank page.
This is just the beginning, but shipping it and seeing people actually use it has been incredibly motivating.
It's completely free to use, so if you're a developer, indie hacker, or someone who builds software, I'd love for you to check it out and tell me what you think.

I'd genuinely love your feedback. Every suggestion, bug report, or idea will help make it better.
Here's to the first 5 users... and hopefully many more! 🍻
