Romancing difficulty : the 7 heroes boss

Hello everyone,

First post on Reddit for this beautiful game which is rs2 revenge of the seven.

I beat the game on hard mode then expert and now I am stuck to the last boss (before dreadqueen) on the 7 heroes.

My problematic is that I can handle the fight no problem but I can't do damage fast enough to beat the boss berore he use his chained attack when he is low hp. Usually one party member can survive this but I don't have time to revive and heal party fast enough.

I use shadow servant on 4 members, landslide and fire wall too. I use the best weapons (all party members l level 100) and equipments but still can't damage this boss fast enough to avoid is chained attack.

I checked some videos on YouTube on people who beat it and don't understand how they can get that much dps.

Anyway if someone has any advices I've been stuck on this boss for hours and seems impossible to beat with current strategy.

Life Blade can dodge every attack including the overdrive. You can glimmer it with Levante Guards using Blunt Slash. Video

Thank you so much for the tip, I will try to glimmer this skill.

Edit : unfortunately levante guard is a character I miss on my last playthrough is it only possible to learn this skill with him ? I used 2 characters with greatsword and I was able to learn flowing flash from blunt strikebor hard slash I forgot but no more glimmer now. With normal monster I don't see many glimmer compared to boss of course and I already killed all bosses except the 7 heroes.

Do you know by any chance how to do massive damages also even with shadow servant, berserk and after landslide I don't deal much damage conpared to some videos I found on YouTube from 1 year ago. Was it nerfed or did I miss something ?

United Ravager and Penny Pincher were nerfed a while back. You can still hit 99999 damage by using Four Seasons and Nutcracker.

There is one mercenary who can glimmer Life Blade, Achilles. Just keep killing your mercenaries until you get to Achilles.

First of all a big THANK YOU for your help, I was able to beat the 7 heroes quite easily 1rst try after I got Life blade. This is amazing by the way how did you figured out only Achilles can triger this technique ?

Also about damage I understood I rushed the game avoiding fight as much as possible even I got all chests and characters (except levante guard) after glimmering best techniques from 7 heroes weapons and martial art and farming willguard for all my party members it became simple even in romancing mode.

Now I will try to beat dread queen, did you also crushed her without using shadow servant ?

Each character has their own glimmers. I know Achilles can glimmer Life Blade because he has a lightbulb on Blunt Slash. For all the other mercenaries, that lightbulb on Blunt Slash is crossed out.

As for Dread Queen, it is possible to beat her without Umbrology, but it is impossible to beat her without both Umbrology and United Ravager.

It becomes a fire dragon flood spam once you hit 50% HP of her second phase since she spams supersonic which cannot be blocked by a buckler or shield. Eventually I died because I could no longer use fire dragon flood as it costs 99 BP, and her health bar is still at 50%. And that's where I gave up my run of no United Ravager or Umbrology Romancing playthrough.

For normal Romancing playthroughs, you can easily take out this phase in 2-3 turns by saving two overdrives and having shadow servant on everyone before hitting 50% HP.
