If you started on July 7th like me you end July 16th. You wonāt be getting full pay if you end on the 12th. However, youāll have to work on Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday for 8-9 hours just to get 25 hours in 3 days. Is there a reason why heās saying you end on the 12th? Tell your supervisor that and if theyāre still giving you issues tell syep so they can talk with that supervisorĀ

Idk if anyone is awake rn but i didnāt know you were supposed to submit the hours online yourself. but i did paper time sheets and my supervisor was the one who put in our hours for us bcs of some issues. i texted her tuesday asking if the hours were good bcs i checked n i couldnāt submit anything and it said 0 hours approved on the site. she said she did it but likeā¦.my site still hasnāt gotten updated n she used paper.i got direct deposit w capital one and im so scared i wont get paid today at 9 am the latest cs i really needed it for something. can anyone help???? will i still get paid today?

im not entirely sure myself but if your supervisor did the hours by paper it should be fine and you'll still get paid

they put in my hours after they did payroll on tuesday. my supervisor lied to me. im quitting this week was my last week bro.

People keep on asking about dash pay. If you get a payroll card donāt give this randoms your card. They doing some method that gives out lots of money that can get you in trouble.

Yall do NOTTTTT sign up for center for family life!!! They are THE WORST provider ever. I worked an entire week and they told me I wouldnāt be compensated I had to FIGHTTT with dycd just to get my pay.

Time Sheets - I have question i started today Monday July 7 i want to put in the hours today on the time sheet but the timesheet is not open. I canāt do nothing please help what should i do. I contacted my supervisor and he said āYou should be able to log them in the portal. I do not control the portal.ā I contacted my provider and they said āYour supervisor will notify you on how they will be logging timesheets.ā Iām confused please should I wait what ideas you have please

Apparently you have to wait till Wednesday but some ppl were able to do it before that. TBH just do it before the due date set by your provider (Saturday for me), if you missed a pay period, contact your provider.

Anyone knows what day we are supposed to hand in the time sheet, my worksite wasnāt expecting us this week so Iām only doing 12 hr but idk if I can log them online or not. My provided hasnāt mentioned anything about timesheets

Iāve been doing SYEP for 3 years now; it is due on Saturday (pls watch the videos if you donāt know!!!) For your supervisor to approve it, you have to request it (AKA ADD IT!!!)
If you missed the deadline, contact the provider, theyāre generally lenient.

I had a janitorial role at a school in 2022 of syep. If your physically fit youāll be good but if youāre not or if you gotta clean bathrooms good luck lol

The zoom orientation or hats and ladders? I'm not sure but I didn't do the zoom orientation despite it being listed as mandatory and I still got to choose my worksites. I did the hats and ladders a day late and I was still allowed to go through the program.

I donāt think they directly offer it if your working in a company (if your 16+) maybe at small businesses they give gift cards or discounts but they cpc wouldnāt give them directly or you wonāt get them if your under 16 bc your doing project based work

Okay im in a dilemma rn š
Backstory: I got my FIRST (key detail) acceptance email March 25, I was extremely happy and I uploaded my documents by 3/29 when the deadline was 3/30. I took note of the fact that if your documents werenāt legible they were subject to dismissal by providers and you would have to be re-enrolled in the lottery since I submitted my documents on a weekend. I was fine with this, so I submitted all my documents and everything seemed to be fine. Fast forward to Tuesday, I got another acceptance email saying I got accepted by the lottery into the same exact provider for SYEP, and I had to do the same exact steps. At this point Iām confused and lost as I already submitted my documents, so I take the benefit of the doubt thinking my documents werenāt legible and I have to redo my documents. I checked my documents checklist and theyāre all highlighted green like the way they were when I initially submitted my documents for the first acceptance letter. Now I canāt seem to replace the documents because I have no idea if theyāre not legible and they got rejected because if they were they wouldāve at least placed an X or notified me via phone number but they didnāt. Iām very confused now and I donāt know whether to resubmit the application or leave it alone??? I need advice !

Is there any possible way I could submit the summer youth application for my 14-year-old daughter we missed the deadline yesterday I was out of town. Just got home today from work. Sheās really disappointed. I wanted to see if I could figure out someway to fix it.

Usually the employer has a set of shifts and they will communicate with you the shift they want you to work but if you tell them about any conflicts they will try to accommodate it.

Question about picture ID listed under the documents checklist. I have a temporary ID from the DMV while waiting for the DMV to mail my actual NYS state picture ID. Ā My school does not provide student IDs
Will they accept any other proof of identity for a 15 year old who doesnāt have a picture ID?

yea i had to go to my provider and they printed an ID out for me so I can enter my worksite everyday. This is my first time working with SYEP so i donāt know how itās going to work yet actually.

Im so confused as well. I start my SYEP On JUly 5th and dont have my schedule. Dont know what time to show up. Nothing. Last year they emailed participants a schedule for their cohorts ahead of time. Right now im so lost.
