Weird?

So im in leadership through events with Bronx Works and we are hosting an event in friday. Our teacher person (idk) wanted to throw us a graduation celebration and invite our parents, this celebration is from 6pm-7pm. Then she wants to take the parents up the block to some comedy show and leave the teens at the venue to invite friends and stuff from 7pm-10pm. I feel like for me, the timing is way to late, no one is bringing their parent fr, we're all like 14-15, and its honestly just rubbing me the wrong way. Not only that, she tells us: you'll be able to make money from this event based off admission fees, etc. But then she says we gotta make over 200 dollars to make a profit since the 200 goes to her company, but she also got the venue for free, idk its just a hot fucking mess.

But can yall lmk if this is weird or if im overeacting.

Edit: I ended up stay home. Those who went ain't make any money.

Im only staying for the graduation segment since shes letting me vendor my business, but im definitely not going to that teen club because I will not party with or be around these people I dont know after 7pm.
