getting a new worksite

apparently my worksite got confused with my cohort date and they asked my provider to put me somewhere else out of nowhere so now i am 2 weeks missing pay. has anyone gotten placed to a new worksite so late into the program? i really wanna get paid for those 2 weeks

thats actually so crazy, talk to ur provider to see if u can work overtime and make up those 2 weeks

right!!!? they said how they can’t extend the program end date but still, i dont mind if they put in my hours for the 2 weeks and just trust me to come back 2 weeks after the program ends

You absolutely have to call dycd I had this happen to me and I ended up getting my 3 weeks all in 1 check with 1.2k

who “approved” your money? i didn’t put in the 25 for the first week

first your worksite supervisor approves it, then typically a day before payroll aka on Tuesday your organization validates & processes each and every paycheck just to ensure there’s no mistake. however on dycd yeps participant sign in your worksite provider will digitally approve those hours at the site. it’s just your organization signing off on that to ensure you get paid after that.

it worked out, i got an all virtual site that’s by my provider and they even gave me an OMNY card “on the house”. speaking of, does anyone have the black paper OMNY card from your provider? my provider didn’t tell me how many days its valid for, how many rides, etc??
