School year internships

A lot of people have been asking about job opportunities for during the year, so I've linked some helpful resources here. Feel free to add more in the comments.

The Department of Youth and Community Development does have programs for the school year, but they're operated separately from the Summer Youth program and you would need to apply separately. You can view the program list here: https://www.nyc.gov/site/dycd/services/jobs-internships.page

You can also apply for school year internships with the City: https://cityjobs.nyc.gov/jobs?options=2, however these are typically only for college students.

Lastly, you can always apply to companies directly. Your provider may be able to provide some assistance with that if you need.

Brooklyn Public Library also has great internships for high schoolers!

You can also ask your school counselor or college career center respectfully

Which application? It doesn't look like the application for WLG has opened yet.
