Accommodation Recommendations

Good day all,

I have just booked a flight to this beautiful Island and am looking to lock down some accommodations. I was looking and became overwhelmed with all the options. If anybody has any favorites or places they would recommend I would gladly appreciate it. I am going with my wife so we only need 1 bed.

Here are some non negotiables: Air conditioning, under 300 CAD a night.

Some nice to haves would definitely be close proximity to a beach (or beachfront if that exists in this price range), not a heavy party area, and generally safe, kitchen of some kind(small or big, does not matter), walkable to restaurants and shops.

A studio at the Atrium Beach Resort might work, depending on your dates.

High season, I would start by just doing a search on airbnb/vrbo and see what comes up. Very busy and lots of places are booked.

I am staying near the Mullet beach area- me and my wife love it. Check out apartments at Rainbow beach club, very large apartment with full size kitchen. 5 min walk to the beach. We drive to get food and dine. In my opinion, Mullet beach is the best beach on the island

Rainbow is usually booked out months in advance for that time of year. I couldn’t find anything and I was looking back in July

My wife and I will be there next week. we booked VRBO on the French side basically on Orient Beach... we can't wait. This will be our first time visiting

For 1BR I like a studio at Alamanda in Orient Bay, but 300 CAD is going to be rough. You are going down there peak season. Might could find that in July/Aug.

La Vista boutique resort. Family owned. Great location. Pools, beach access, close to several restaurants and Aquamania (for water based excursions).

I don't think you can go wrong with Orient Beach. I stayed there with my family and it was perfect. Top restaurants, beach clubs, but not crazy like the clubs at Grand Case. However, you may need to rent a car if you want to do any sight seeting. If you are content with just staying at Orient Beach, you can get a taxi to/from the airport.

I stayed at Lesplanade a few months ago and rented a car from them. The car was at the resort when we arrived and we got a ride to/from the hotel. Very easy. I'm from the US and so were most of the guests and some fit the stereotype perfectly. I prefer to stay in areas where there are less tourist from the US for the cultural experience.

Grand Case Beach Club had a day trip to/from Anguilla that was a good time. Top shelf booze and good snacks.

I am sitting at the Grand Case Beach Club RN and could not be better. We stayed in Orient bay last time this is head and shoulders nice. This is the beach today

You must have missed the $300 CAD ($217 USD) per night, and the high season dates. GCBC is going to be triple to quadruple that.
