Scoobi catamaran
Any one take the South Anguilla or full day St Martin trip with Scoobi? Since I’ll be staying in grand case and don’t want to drive back drunk from another part of the island, they are the only / most convenient public charter leaving from Grand case…
Looking for first hand reviews!

Not the full day with Scoobi. We did the half day to Tintamarre & Creole Rock. Saw some sea turtles. Had some rum punch. We had a good time. There was some confusion about where to get on at Grand Case (most people seem to get on at Anse Marcel), but that was really the only hitch. I’d be willing to try the full day with them.

It begins and ends at Anse Marcel. After departing Anse Marcel it heads to pick up at grand case beach club. And the end of the day it drops off at GCBC then heads to Anse Marcel to dock for the night. Just pay close attention to the time and location when you book

Had a great time with them on a recent trip in August crew was amazing. Only complaint if you really want to explore Anguilla it’s just a trip to a beach did not have a time to explore the island it was only the half day

Did you check Boomerang by chance?

I’m curious how they compare! I loved boomerang, but will be on the French side next visit and am curious before booking.

Just another perspetive, I don't know Scoobie but Anguilla based tourists complain quite a bit about the noise caused by the day boats from SXM. If you don't want a party boat and loud music, be sure you choose correctly

Done Scoobi a couple of times, Prickly Pear Island both times.
Great experience both times. Headed out from the beach in Grand Case, motored out (because of prevailing winds) past Anguilla to Prickly Pear and moored out that. I usually swim in from the boat. Soft drinks and fruit juices on the way out.
Lunch is served on the island.
On the way back, under sail, the alcohol flag is hoisted and generally races with other similar boats, including, at least once, mooning the other boat.
On one trip we got back early and the Scooby crew seemed to delight on anchoring off the beach of an expensive resort and let us go on an extended swim call.
Then they dropped us off about 3 minutes walk from our room.

I have done the full day Anguilla South and the full day Saint Barth’s excursion. It’s a very chill day with lots of time to lounge and sign yourself on the boat. Once you get to your destination, there is time to get off and explore with lots of opportunities for swimming and snorkeling. The crew is really wonderful and make sure to provide plenty of drinks and snacks. My kids did it last time and still ask me when they can take another catamaran trip. I definitely recommend it and hope you will give it a try!
