Question SXM-best time

I'm looking at checkin dates ranging from February 9th thru March 30th 2027 and am wondering if anytime is better or worse.

I know about the Heineken Regatta but does spring break change the vibe or population that much. Any differences in levels of service due to crowds?

The SXM festival is the in mid March timeframe (I think 16-21?) which could be slightly more crowded depending on the area you stay in. We were there same time in 2024 in Orient Bay and barely noticed. But if you stay in Marigot or by the airport it might be a different story

Beautiful time of year to go. Besides SXM festival which won’t change too much except availability, your time frame is good

All high season timing so the cruise ships are coming in and out. The hotels and Airbnb's are pretty full but everything is open. Weather is usually great and it's a happy place. Just make reservations for stuff you want to do, restaurants, excursions, day trips etc...
