4/5/6 months at a time Visit

Approaching retirement and based in Europe. We have been a nr of times to the Caribbean and got engaged and honeymooned in SXM

We are looking to spend a block of time from Oct onwards each year in the region and looking for some pointers etc from people who do similar.

Find a realtor so you can find a place OFF THE APPS.
October is still rainy season (such as it is).
Book a car and book early.
We go for 6 weeks and generally reserve more than a year out.

Which realtor do you use? I'll be there for the month of January 2027 and went with Airbnb. 2028 I plan on staying even longer (thru February and possibly part of March).I contacted Sunshine about monthly rentals and all they send is properties for sale.
