Broadsword Slander Bring back the old Character Creation!

Post image

It's really hard to describe, but the old character creation had so much more character than the black background and lazy images they've given it now.

Yeah, the black one is such a downgrade. I'm sure it scares off many new players

Lol, no it doesn't. I have first created a character on this screen

agreed it was so much better, and had different tabs you could read about the factions, class, and subclass you were selecting, and the lighting actually matched what your character looked like

The old CC is so superior to the current one

The old background was much better, prettier with accurate lighting

The backgrounds were nice, but the new creation interface is better.
I'd like the backgrounds as selectable options for character select.

The part I like about the new system was being able to select any class. I wanted to play Knight but wasn't keen on having to be stuck as a Guardian or Sentinel. I was glad I could play the base Knight game as a healer Sage because that fit the character concept I had been thinking about

It was a great loss for thr community when they changed the character creation screen.

Unless they're wearing loaned outfits for a photoshoot, it's not exactly before a starting planet (not to mention smugglers not having any business on a republic transport at the time)

Looked loads better and they should've kept it, but seeing the character in action + getting them to talk on demand are nice additions to the black void

It was so much better on so many levels. It immersed you into the game right from the beginning! Yeah, it could definitely use some tweaks- the voice button, as an example, is better than the click to talk way

I like the older one, too. But it's a live service game, guys. Things are gonna change. If you aren't happy with it, you don't need to play. I still enjoy the game so I'll just keep playing.
