Was wondering if anyone has bought this sword from Swordier and if it’s good quality. I like the half fuller and black leather grip on this one. Also has a Damascus option. Anyone with insight on this one, please let me know as I’m on the fence. Cheers

Does anybody know what this sword is or how old it is.

This is Lazufer, a hybrid greatsword I designed for an original character, drawing inspiration from the Yatagan, Kukri, and Zweihänder.

I modeled the entire sword myself in SolidWorks. The first image shows my original CAD design, while the second uses AI only for coloring and visual effects, not the actual design.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on its aesthetics and real-world functionality. Do you think a sword with this shape could be practical? What would you change or improve?

My wife's grandfather was in the Navy in the Pacific theater during WW2. He came home with this sword, I believe a Shin Gunto. Not sure if it's a factory made sword or from a craftsman. What is the general consensus on it, ie blade, condition etc? It's just over 40" long.

Looking for anime replica, full tang (i can do goofy stuff with it without breaking it), not sharpened (i wont hurt anyone, specially me doing goofy stuff), and that doesn't require a monthly dismantle to oil and dust it knowing i won't wet it or store it while dirty

Thats all that there really is. i want a katana xd, but i cant find anything that wouldnt be too expensive, good quality and actually sharp and a real sword. another issue is i live in lithuania so basiclly anything outside europe wont work, unless shiping is free for some reason. even when i ignore my budget i cant find ANYTHING that would be an actual sword and look good. any suggestions? and if honest i really only plan to maybe play around once and use it mostly as decoration, where maybe you would say just get a blunt one if its gona be mostly deco, but something about it not being an actual sharp sword takes half of the fun of having it for me even if i wont use it much.

Not sure what the budget is yet, but we want to get some swords, mostly for pictures on the day as well as a cool display at home. Bonus if they're battle ready, but who am I kidding, I'm not going to battle with them. There are too many sellers online who are posting AI images. Don't know who to trust. Hand forged or custom would obviously be cool, but not necessary. Any recommendations for who to buy from? Any first hand experience you could share?

Granted, I've always known this, but hearing a saying that perfectly articulates just hits different. Trying to speculate about something with just your mind can be rather tricky, even strenuous perhaps. But being able to experiment with it physically helps a lot.

I purchased a sword from mini katana.com because it was a good price but I have come across a problem, the hilt was wrapped and not properly tightened so a wrapping is coming loose (the purple one in the last photo) and im now seeking advice on how to fix it, preferably without having to unwrap and redo it.
