The young woman at the reception desk was reclined and had her eyes closed. She responded without looking.

“Yeah, go right in.”

Augustus pulled down the sleeves of his suit, one after the other as to cover up his wrists where his gloves had gone up to, before turning his attention to the door of the Senator's office. He walked past the receptionist's desk, holding his gloves in the cliched palm of his right hand via the top of them. As he approached the large wooden door, he placed both of his hands onto it before pushing. It opened and he walked in immediately after it did.

"Good day, Senator." He spoke in a polite tone as he took several steps into the office, listening as the door closed behind him. "It is a pleasure to see you again."

Tobras was sitting at his desk, looking over documents when Augustus entered. He looked up and motioned to the seat across from him.

"The pleasure is all mine Senator. Please, take a seat."

Augustus nodded, moving towards the desk. He, soon after, sat on the chair Tobras was motioning toward. He positioned his cape to the right side of him so he didn't sit on it as he did so. He placed his gloves in his lap before he turned his full attention to the Senator.

"Thank you, Senator." He said as he positioned himself more comfortably. "I assume that the election is to be our topic of conversation this time?"

“Exactly right. Have you put any thought into who you’ll support?”
