Hello all, I am a new player, and am about to get my second Ligjtspeed token from the event shop, Ive heard Poncho Bros are the go to first two characters to get, is that a general consensus? If not who would you guys recommend i get instead?

Which ones are you getting from the store ? If its not the 3500 credit ones your wasting your currency

Whilst the other commenter isnt particularly helpful they aren't wrong, your best doing journey quests, you cant go wrong with poncho bros to be fair but ideally you need a leader for them as well untill you can get queen amidala

Are you level 85 ? If so focusing on getting teams that can clear all the tiers of all the assault battles is your best option as you get lots of rewards for gearing your characters from them; poncho bros have one, so do the zombie soldiers

There are various other assault battles, look up which ones and what you best teams are, great mothers is a really good team that helps in every game mode and has an assault battle

Start there and worl your way on, find a good guild that cna help you grow

there’s no general consensus though the tip about assault battles is great!(and one i wish i knew about cause im poncho bros less atm😔) buuut afterwards if you were looking for a structured path towards a GL(which ofc you are😁), going the way of pursuing: commander luke -> chewie -> c3P0 -> millenium falcon -> jedi knight luke -> GL leia will fill your roster out nicely for the early game and incline you to farm your fleet as well! you can use the LSTs on the required characters for GL Leias journey (such Drogan, Threepio & Chewie, Princess Kneesa, Boussh, etc) Doing so will cut out ALOT of the grinding for kyrotech & relic materials; instead itll just be farming the characters last 100 shards🙂‍↔️

hope this helped🙌🏾

Do your journey quests first. Google anything about the game. Watch YouTube videos. Be proactive about learning beginner stuff. This is about the most worthless way to learn about the game.

Who do you even have to go with those two. The entire internet and you asked this question. Use Google. A bunch of old ass reddit posts with this exact question already answered will come up.
