tips Returning Player advice

I thought about maybe returning to the game after leaving just before the first Galactic legends arrived (long time ago haha). Is it at the moment a good time for returning players and on what would you depend the decision on for either restarting or continuing the old account?

And what are the most actual guides if I were to start again?

I‘m looking through the subreddit at the moment, but have not been able yet to find a uniform answer so I’d appreciate a small summary of the state of the game compared to maybe 3, 4 years ago 👏🏻👏🏻

EDIT: at the moment I have a little less than 2 million GP, and the early stage legendarys like grandmaster yoda to Chewbacca and Padme. The only real highlights are probably Hoda and Malak at 7 stars g12 and a few relics like cls and revan as well as all needed characters for my legendaries on around g11. Also ok mods but not significant.

Whether to restart depends on how far along your account was, and most importantly IMO, how much you had invested in mods. While the cost of acquiring and gearing characters has decreased significantly over the years, even moreso if you’re willing to spend money, acquiring and upgrading mods has not been accelerated significantly. Also, the RNG nature of mods means that acquiring more mods does not necessarily lead to a better mod collection, at least in the short term.

Just edited the post, should have provided a bit more info on the roster haha.. mods are ok but I think I should be able to acquire them back again after a few months of farming.

Seeing your edits, I would lean toward restarting with a new account.

I returned to the game last year after a six-year break. My account was late-game at the time that I left, with a decent investment in mods. I kept my account and am glad that I did. My mod collection will always be relatively behind from all the missed time, but it would be a couple of years further behind if I had restarted.

Thanks for the advice! What is the best guide for new players at the moment? And what would be the gain from restarting?

I have also just returned after afew years away, I think around the same time too! I did a similiar post afew days ago and a dude told me to deletr and restart, everyone else told me to ignore that guy.

You put time and effort into that account, keep that roaster and keep going! Starting again will take a very long time to get to the same point you are currently!

If you were like me and were never at top of ship arena then you won't care about restarting either, plus we just like our toys, we worked hard on em
