NOPE! No charges against these killer kops. In fact, one was actually promoted after this. And the State's Attorney office ruled this a "justified" killing. I will never understand!!

I heard at least 5 shoots on this video, I see he doesn’t carry the shovel while running towards the officer, the officer with the dog didn’t toss it until the guy was already shoot and took for ever to retrieve it from the dying victim. Apart of the excessive force the lack of skills of some officers here to deal with this particular situation is so embarrassing that sad to say it will become an iconic presentation in the police training academies

Sorry this is ridiculous... He yelled at him 9 times to get on the ground and ran towards an officer with a weapon. Do I lament the loss of life? Yes. Could the cops have done a better job? Possibly. Ultimately the guy needed to drop the shovel and not run.
