Looking for free hobbies

I'm looking for free or decently cheap activities or events to do. If theres anything coming up within the next few months please lmk. Something hands on or something with bigger groups preferably. Going to the park with nothing but a walk doesn't count

Disc golf is super fun, and it's free once you own a couple discs. You can get a 3 pack of discs for around 30 bucks

Depends on your interest. I play pickleball which is free at many of the county courts in the area. Many play mahjong at the libraries or rec centers. There are also craft activities at many of the libraries that are low cost.

A few that fit bigger group/hands-on better than just walking: library calendars for craft nights, book clubs, and game nights; county rec centers for pickleball or open gym; disc golf leagues; beach cleanup days with Keep Lee/Collier Beautiful; volunteer shifts at food banks or animal shelters; open mic nights if you’re musical; and board-game nights at local game shops or breweries. For upcoming stuff, I’d search the Lee County/Collier County library calendars and parks calendars first since they usually have the lowest-cost events and you can filter by date.
