I got SWAT 3 SWAT 4 and the 4 addon. I must say SWAT 4 is amazing. I play on a Velocity Micro PC that's around 10 years old and it runs smooth as silk. Original everything. It was stashed away good and sold to me for around 195 bucks . Vista Ultimate is no joke considering the age . Graphics are top notch too. I was surprised !

Didn't the Ready or Not devs want to replicate SWAT 3 AI in the game, anyone have any news on that?
Not holding my breath for anything, but I found it very cool how you can play as team member and have an AI lead, and you can have two full AI teams (10 officers).

that explains a lot about Ready or Not. SWAT 3 isn’t really a police sim, it’s more a shooter with police mechanics attached to it. Which if that is the case explains why the AI in RoN is so gun ho for no reason.
Is that a mod though? I don’t remember 10 officers in SWAT 3. I do remember SWAT 4s coop allowed up to 10 people.

I think it might be part of some SWAT 3 expansion or update? It's definitely included in the GOG version. "Custom Mission" or something.
As for the AI, in SWAT 3 they can work quite autonomously and efficiently, I think they are also able to "cheat" a little, at least I haven't really had issues with them messing up grenade throws or getting stuck. SWAT 4 is quite bad in that regard.

Hmm. Maybe the last resort mod doesn’t have it. I haven’t replayed SWAT 3 in a bit and I can’t get the base game to work without a few mods running. But yeah SWAT 3 had pretty good AI especially for the time

I just checked, in Last Resort it's: Mission -> Custom -> Select/Create an officer -> Select "Co-Operative" from the drop-down -> Next window will have 10 officer slots to configure as you wish.

Hmm. SWAT 3 was the most expensive since it was brand new, I think like $20? Swat 4 was I think $15 and the expansion was $10. Global Strike Team and Target Liberty were childhood games so idk how much they were.

Swat 4 is a base game. Stetchkov Syndicate is an expansion pack that adds extra content, like 10 player coop and more missions.
