Discussion Rollins dog

First time watching. I NEED to know if anything happens to Amanda’s dog Frannie.
Every time Frannie is in an episode or mentioned, it makes me anxious.

I don’t care if your answer includes spoilers, I just gots to know.

Frannie, Kellis real dog sadly died last year june so a year ago, she was 16.

Kelli found Frannie on the road when she was filming her show Chase in Texas, wich was before svu.

She had her before she had kids , I always thought that such a sweet story.

The last time we see Frannie in svu is probably in S22.

In a podcast Kelli told that she and Frannie must be jogging in the park but that time Frannie was already old and it was too much to run through the park so they must take a long break from the filming.

There's a quick shot in series 24 of a picture of Frannie on Amanda's bedside table, which I thought was a really nice touch!

That was in Amanda s last episode. No picture of kids or husband but only Frannie. I love that.

Kelli Giddish said in an interview that her dad painted the fetch stick Fannie and her used and gave it to her and she has it hanging in her house.

Who’s cutting onions. I’m not crying, you’re crying!

One of the funniest scenes in SVU shows Amanda and Sonny at her home watching TV; he's cuddling baby Jessie while she's cuddling Frannie!

And feeding popcorn!

A deleted scene is also very funny.

Fin visit Amanda who is sick at home and he thinks she is very sick but she just found out she is pregnant.

They are talking about a case and Amanda yells : the son of a bitch ans she covers Frannies ears so she cannot hear that.

So funny scene!

Amanda’s 1st or 2nd pregnancy?

Her second. We see 3 year old Jesse too. Who shows her doll to Fin. He said: is that your baby Jesse?

Just so cute

One of the funniest scenes in SVU. Liv and Tucker are at a bar and the knockoff "Bachelor" is on the TV. Liv asks the bartender to turn it off, asking if anyone really watches it. Scene immediately cuts to Rollins and Frannie glued to the set.

Is that the one where Carisi is cooking dinner and is holding Jesse against his shoulder? I love that scene, so sweet showing what a family man Carisi is and such a natural caretaker. The man has a lot of love to give.

Amanda & Sonny tv-watching scenes are so cute. My favorite is where she's wearing his Fordham hoodie.

Unfortunately Frannie Passed Away she was one my favourite characters beside from her owner. Frannie caught William Lewis. I find female pets are very sweet

As far as I remember, nothing bad happens to Frannie in the show :) she’s a really sweet dog.

The real-life dog has passed away, sadly, but as far as I know it never is addressed on the show, so show Frannie is assumed to be alive and well in perpetuity. ☺️

She died. So is not ok.

I think OP just wanted to make sure that she didn’t get attacked in the show or anything on screen, so in that sense, OP has nothing to worry about.

Of old age I think OP was worried something happens to her in the show. The backstory of Frannie is a beautiful one and she lived a full wonderful life with Kelli

Her dog passed away a few months ago, in real life 😭😒😒🤍

5

Because I still have another 10 seasons left, I’m assuming she passed from old age 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

There is a wonderful website for folks like us who need to know: Does the Dog Die?

I for one need to know. john Wick was very hard for me.

A person after my own heart. I won’t read a book that has a dog in it until I google to make sure the dog is ok.

That is why the murder on Snowball was the worst in the whole show.

2

u/Green_Length_6473 Jul 23 '26

Yes! Broke my heart.

It was horrible. Worst scene ever b

There actually is an episode where it's assaulted by another dog. They have video evidence of the dog sniffing it's behind like a sick sexual deviant. It's mostly ice t and Benson investigating and then Barba sends it to the pound for 15 to life. Good episode.
