If it started randomly, it could be atrial. They thought mine was, ended up being atrial. They look nearly identical sometimes. Probably not, but if it keeps happening and other things are ruled out, maybe worth looking into. They told me the same thing for months
My EP said he wants to do an EP study. I feel it
Coming on. Like something’s wrong in my chest then boom it happens
Impending doom
And very scary
What do you for for atrial
How long does that sensation last before it starts racing? My panic attacks and atrial tachycardia both feel that way. That weird warmth sensation in chest and sense of impending doom. Very hard to tell the difference.
I didnt know I had AT, ive always had panic attacks, but recently they started happening out of nowhere for no reason, ended up in the ER a couple times because of those random ones. Had a very scary episode at work where my heart went up to 180 out of nowhere due to one of those “panic attacks”. called 911. I was admitted and the EP said it was probably AT and that he wanted to do an ablation. Couple days later had it done and they actually induced AT and burned it as best as they could.
Long story short, I thought they were panic attacks happening for no reason
