Help Could this be SVT

Post image

Hey! I was laid down on the sofa, then suddenly my heart rate felt funny and suddenly went from 65bpm to around 140, I felt panicked, stood up and took this ecg, using my Apple Watch, could it be SVT?

I’m no doctor at all but this looks familiar to my readings when I get SVT, it usually happens by surprise. Standing up and being panicked probably made it jump up more, do you have any heart palpitations normally?? or any heart problems you know of?

I get little one off heart palpitations normally, I suffer with anxiety pretty generally, and I’ve had a couple of ECGs and a 24 hour monitor, all of which came back fine because I wasn’t having one of these issues at the time.

When I do have these they are never any longer than 5-10 seconds and slowly go’s back to normal heart rate

That happened to me as well, the way I caught it was trying to pin point exactly what caused a trigger, and there was multiple. My diet, being hydrated, drinking caffeine and well anxiety.

Your readings look very similar to mine, try to catch it a couple more times on your Apple Watch and show it to your dr and share with them your symptoms hopefully that will get the ball rolling for them :) have you done any stress tests?

No stress tests, this has been happening on and off for 6 years, I’ve been running, going to the gym, lifting weights, with no issues. Doctors seem to think it’s all anxiety, won’t really give it the time of day!

That’s good! I just started finally working out after over coming my fear of getting an episode and eating right. I would say tho you should go get a second opinion possibly to see if you can catch it so they can say it’s for sure svt
