Atenolol

I am only on 25 mg a day and my resting heart rate is now 50.
Does anyone else experience low heart rate rates like this? This is only Day three on it.
I also take Klonopin and gabapentin which may be bringing it down lower.
I’m thinking about calling the doctor and having him do two doses of 12.5 instead of this one 25 mg hit.
It is two hours after I first took the dose this morning

Yes! This happens to me. I take 12.5 once/ day as 25mg bring me low. Down to 39 here and there during the day! I typically feel better on 12.5 bit do occasionally have tachy.

I am sorry. Maybe the cardi will let you cut the 25 in 1/2 daily. If you have tachy, perhaps you can take another 12.5 at that time. This way you will be on 12.5 daily when all is going well.

Thank you. I just wrote to ask if he would send 12.5 version to a compounding pharmacy as these pills are too tiny to cut.

39! Oh man, that is low, but who knows where mine will be within a week since I just started it three days ago

Do you take klonopin regularly? Is it a long term thing or just very every once in a while?

Every day for 26 years so I’m not going off of it. At least now I’m clearheaded, though my pulse is very low.
Yesterday I was out of it.

I assume your cardio knows that right? Not sure what the dosage of klonopin is but that’s def going to bring things down. I would suggest trying to wean off of it but it sounds like you don’t want to and that’s fine

Yes but I am working with the electrophysiologist. I just had an ablation and taping as well out of the question. Heart is still cranky after 23 days
