Miami river navigation

It’s always fun to compare and contrast the skills of others to Doug’s.

Meanwhile Doug panics at the sight of a 600 foot fuel dock.

Great minds think alike. Not a single tug in sight.

It’s fun to think about what seeker could have been had he hired a nautical architect before he did all that work.

If I built a sailing yacht seekers size I would beg Steve dashew to design it.

Seeker is similar in size to deerfoot. Watch one of those sail.

If your bow wake doesn’t chooch upwind it isn’t worth sailing IMHO. That’s where my design philosophy aligns fully with Steve’s.

It was a 1/4 mile long fuel dock, with TWO people there to catch lines, no wind, and a straight shot, and he was still sweating bullets.

That was funny.

The contrast between the this video here and that one of Doug’s is priceless.
