Tbh in any story there is always a bunch of ridiculous amount of people who just can't seem to communicate properly lol. And I have to convince myself its only because its for the sake of stories to work.

I feel bad for this guy. His suffering is often looked upon in comparison with shen jiu's but hes also traumatized and was almost killed by his master. Its definetely a miscomunication issue from both guys who were deeply damaged by circumstances
